What you're actually afraid of — and why it's fair
Nobody's nervous about the driving part. They're nervous about the money part — paying upfront for a service they can't see happening, to a company they found yesterday, hoping the price they were quoted is the price they'll actually pay. That fear didn't come from nowhere. It's a well-earned reputation in this industry, built by brokers who take a deposit, then call two days before pickup with a "carrier fee increase" that isn't optional.
That's precisely the setup we don't run. You pay $0 to book, your card isn't charged until a real carrier is dispatched to your vehicle, and the quote you accept comes from live rates on your exact ZIPs — not a placeholder number that "adjusts" later.
Fear one
The price changes after pickup
A low number wins the click. Then no carrier will run the lane for it, so the load sits — and the call comes once your car is already spoken for: it’ll be another $300, or we can’t move it this week.
What we do instead
- Your number is built from live carrier rates on your exact route, not a teaser designed to earn a callback.
- It is locked in writing for 7 days, and the total you sign is the total you pay.
- Every adder is declared before you book — winch loading is a flat $150, expedited dispatch a flat $200, enclosed 30–50% over open.
Fear two
The car sits with nobody assigned
The load goes onto a public board at a rate drivers scroll past. Nothing is technically wrong, so nobody calls you. Two weeks later your car is still in the driveway and the reason is a number you were never shown.
What we do instead
- We quote a rate a carrier will actually accept, which is the entire reason the price doesn’t move later.
- Your coordinator tells you where the lane stands before your first available date, not after it passes.
- When a carrier is assigned you get the company, the driver, the truck, and a phone number — on your order page, not read out over the phone.
What happens on pickup day
Your driver calls at least 24 hours ahead to confirm the window, then shows up and gets as close to your door as the truck can safely and legally manage: a driveway, a street, sometimes a nearby lot if your block is too tight for an 80-foot rig. Before your car goes anywhere, you and the driver walk around it together.
That walkaround produces the Bill of Lading — a signed, photographed condition report of your car before it's loaded. This document is your protection, not paperwork for its own sake: it's what you compare against the same inspection at delivery. Nothing gets loaded without it, and you should never sign it without actually looking at the car first.
What you handle, what we handle
You handle three things: giving accurate pickup and delivery details, being reachable when the driver calls, and doing the walkaround at both ends. That's genuinely it. You don't chase carriers, negotiate rates, or figure out insurance paperwork yourself.
We handle the rest — matching your car to a licensed, insured carrier already running your lane, verifying their cargo insurance before pickup, coordinating the pickup and delivery windows, and staying on the line as your one point of contact if anything needs adjusting mid-route. You booked one shipment with one company. It should feel that way the whole way through.
After you book
A page of your own, without a password
Booking creates your order page and emails you the link. It holds your carrier and driver as soon as dispatch assigns them, what has been charged, your signed agreement, and where the shipment honestly stands.
Lost the email? Open track my order and we send it again to the address on the booking. There is no account to create and no password to remember — you booked a car shipment once, not a subscription.
Your order page
- 01
Booked
Signed agreement on file, card vaulted, nothing charged.
- 02
Carrier assigned
Company, driver, and phone appear. This is when your card is charged.
- 03
Picked up
Inspected and photographed with you. The Bill of Lading records condition.
- 04
In transit
Status your coordinator has checked with the driver — with the time it was checked.
- 05
Delivered
Walk the car against the pickup photos, then sign.
Each step is marked only once it has really happened, and status carries the time it was checked. We would rather show you an hours-old timestamp than a moving dot that isn’t real.

Every fee, itemised
That's the complete list; nothing "starts at" a number and grows once you're committed. If a fee isn't on this table, you won't see it on your invoice either. How the price is built walks through the factors behind your exact number.

Questions people ask before booking
Do I really pay nothing to book?
Correct — $0 at booking, every time. Your card is charged only once a verified carrier is dispatched to your car, and the rest is paid to the driver at delivery.
What if my quote goes up later?
It doesn't. Your quote locks for 7 days from live carrier rates on your exact ZIPs, not a teaser number that "needs adjusting" once you're committed.
What if I need to cancel?
Free, any time before a carrier is dispatched to your vehicle. Just tell your coordinator.
Is my car insured the whole way?
Yes — under the carrier's cargo policy, which we verify and send you in writing before pickup, so you can check the coverage yourself instead of taking someone's word for it.
What if my car doesn't run?
Still shippable. As long as it rolls, brakes, and steers, the carrier winches it aboard for a flat $150. Let your coordinator know upfront.
Will I keep talking to the same person?
Yes. One coordinator handles your shipment from booking to delivery; you're never re-explaining your move to someone new.
Can I leave things in the car?
Up to 100 lbs, in the trunk or below the window line. Cargo insurance covers the vehicle and not its contents, so anything you would be upset to lose should travel with you instead.
Do I have to give my phone number to see a price?
No. The calculator returns your number first and asks who you are second — contact details are only needed to lock the price to your name and route. That order is deliberate: it is the whole difference between a quote and a lead form.
