Broadway Auto Transport

For dealers

Built for volume, not one-off bookings

Every unit you move shouldn't mean a fresh quote, a new invoice, and a different rep explaining themselves. An account fixes that once.

What an account changes

One relationship instead of a stack of transactions

Booking cars one at a time works fine when it's one car. It stops working the moment you're moving five units off an auction lot, three trade-ins across two states, and a customer's inventory swap, all in the same week — all needing a different quote, a different form, and someone on your team chasing down which one actually got dispatched. That's not a shipping problem. It's an operations problem, and it's the exact one an account exists to fix.

A Broadway account turns your shipping into one relationship: one rate structure across your lanes, one invoice cycle instead of a card charge per car, and authorized contacts who can release a vehicle without you personally signing off on every single move.

Moving one personal vehicle instead? Retail booking is simpler and identical.

How an account actually works

What actually changes once you have an account

Booking one-off means re-quoting every time, re-entering every detail, and hoping the price on a lane you run weekly hasn't drifted since last time. An account replaces that with pricing set for your specific lanes upfront, so a routine route between the same two cities doesn't need a fresh negotiation every single time you run it.

It also means your team isn't the bottleneck. Multiple people can book and release vehicles under one account, using one relationship with one coordinator who already knows your volume, your lanes, and how you like things handled. You stop being the only person who can move a car.

Invoicing that doesn't interrupt your cash flow

Booking per car usually means a card charge per car — fine for a private customer, painful when you're moving twenty units a month and reconciling twenty separate charges. Qualified accounts move to Net 15 or Net 30 instead: one invoice cycle covering your shipments, on terms that match how your business actually gets paid.

Getting there is a straightforward review, not a lengthy underwriting process — most accounts are qualified based on shipment volume and standard business verification. Your coordinator sets it up once you're approved, and every shipment after that runs against the account instead of a new charge.

Who's allowed to release a car, and how that works

The riskiest moment in any commercial shipment isn't the driving — it's the release. Wrong vehicle picked up, wrong person signing off, a trade-in that leaves the lot before financing clears. An account lets you name authorized contacts specifically permitted to release vehicles on your behalf, so pickup only happens when someone on your approved list confirms it.

That list is yours to manage: add a new manager, remove someone who's left, restrict release authority to specific people for specific transaction types. It's built to match how your dealership or business actually controls its inventory, not a one-size-fits-all form.

Auction runs, mixed loads, and who to call when something's off-schedule

Auction pickups run on their own clock — a car clears the lot and needs to move fast, often with less lead time than a standard booking. Accounts are built to handle that pace: your coordinator already has your account details, so an auction pickup doesn't start from zero every time.

You're also not locked into one transport type per account. Mix open and enclosed across the same account depending on what each unit needs — a routine trade-in on open, a low-mileage collector trade on enclosed — all billed through the same relationship. And when something needs a real answer fast, it's the same coordinator and the same direct line every time, not a general support queue.

The fee, in the open

Every price we quote is two numbers added together: the carrier market rate — the median of what carriers were actually paid to run your lane over the trailing 90 days — and our fee, flat by move size. Most brokers keep a percentage they never name; ours is on this page, because a dealer doing volume math deserves to know what the middle costs.

Enclosed adds $50, an inoperable unit adds $75. Thin-data lanes are quoted as a range rather than fake precision, and a multi-vehicle batch often rides as one load — your coordinator prices those as one, which is where the per-unit number improves. Volume lanes get set pricing when the account is set up.

What we move for stores

Dealer trades

Send both stores’ details and we schedule with the other dealer directly. Your desk gets a delivery window, not a coordination job — and the unit lands before the customer’s Saturday appointment.

Auction runs

Buyer numbers and gate passes go on the dispatch, and carriers who run Manheim, ADESA, and Copart weekly handle release without hand-holding. Tight free-storage clock? Expedited dispatch is a flat $200 — usually less than the fees.

Inventory between rooftops

Two or three units on one lane and set of dates typically ride the same truck and price below the single-unit rate. A recurring run becomes a standing lane rate instead of a fresh spot quote every week.

Sold units to retail buyers

Out-of-state deliveries move under your store’s name with photo documentation at both ends, so a delivery dispute has evidence attached rather than two conflicting phone calls.

The full service detail — equipment, lane pricing, release procedures — is on dealership & dealer trade transport.

What dealers ask before they sign up

How is this different from just booking normally?

Booking normally means a fresh quote and a card charge every time. An account gives you set pricing on your lanes, Net terms instead of per-shipment charges, and multiple people on your team who can book and release vehicles.

What are the payment terms?

Qualified accounts get Net 15 or Net 30, billed on a regular invoice cycle instead of a charge per shipment. Terms are set during setup based on your volume and standard business verification.

Is pricing published anywhere?

The fee structure is — it's on this page. What isn't published is your lane rates: the carrier market side moves with real dispatch data, so exact numbers live in the dealer portal and in the lane pricing your coordinator sets for volume routes.

Can multiple people on my team book shipments?

Yes. Add as many authorized users as you need, and control separately who has authority to release a vehicle for pickup.

Do you handle auction pickups?

Yes, and accounts are built for that pace specifically — your coordinator already has your details on file, so an auction pickup doesn't start from a blank form.

Can I use both open and enclosed under one account?

Yes, mixed freely per shipment. A routine trade-in and a collector unit can ship differently in the same week, billed through the same account.

Ready to set up your account?

Call to talk lanes, volume, and terms with a coordinator directly — no minimum to commit to. Or open the dealer portal yourself: every shipment and priced lane in one list, no sales call required.
